He was born March 19, 1940.
Mr. Raab was a proud long- time employee of McDonnell Douglas (later Boeing). He loved his family, friends and his John Deere. Dave will be remembered as a simple man with a generous heart and great smile.
He was the loving husband of Chris Raab, nee Moudy; dear son of the late Ralph and Olive Raab; devoted father of John (Susan) Raab, Amy (Jeff) Kaiser, and Jill (Matt) Smith; proud pawpaw of Josephine and Jennette Raab and Caroline, Catherine and Jack Kaiser; dear brother of John Raab and the late Rosetta Brown; dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1-3 p.m. at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in Croy's Creek Cemetery, Brazil, Ind.
Memorials to College United Methodist Church, 701 E. Booneslick Road, Warrenton, MO 63383, are preferred.

Chester R. Linke 1925 - 2009
Chester R. (Bud) Linke, 84, Jonesburg, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at New Florence Care Center.
Mr. Linke was born April 21, 1925, near Jonesburg, the son of Albert O. Linke and wife Gladys, nee. Cope.
He graduated from Jonesburg High School in 1943.
Mr. Linke served his country in the U.S. Army for two years, most of the time in the Philippines.
On Nov. 8, 1952, he was united in marriage to Joan Peery.
He retired from Binkley Manufacturing after 37 years of employment. He owned his own blacksmith and welding shop in Jonesburg until failing health forced him to close it. He was a member of the Montgomery County Old Threshers Association and a member and officer in I.A.M. machinist union local 1745.
Mr. Linke was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Herbert, as an infant, and Clifford in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Linke; one son, Kevin and wife Debbie, and two grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren, all of Warrenton; two brothers, Robert Linke and Howard Linke, both of Warrenton; six sisters, Elsie Cope, New Truxton, Marge Curtis, Jonesburg, Mary Hesterberg, Bellflower, Ruby Rapp, Raymont, Jewel Muns, Valerio, Fla., and Cathy Stuckey, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., are preferred.

Funeral services for Kathryn Capstick, 59, Jonesburg, were held Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
Mrs. Capstick died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at her home.
She is survived by her husband, David Capstick; two sons, Jeff (Stephanie) Capstick, and Timothy (Amber) Capstick; two daughters, Amy (Schultz) Schneider and Julie (Matt) Kappen; other relatives and many friends.
