Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Heeger, Union, announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Heeger, Union, to Jonathan Heaton, St. Charles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Heaton, Cary, N.C.
The bride is a graduate of Union High School, of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, and of Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis, with a Master of Science degree in elementary administration. She is employed by Union R-XI School District as a third-grade teacher.
The groom is a graduate of Parkway Central High School, St. Louis, and of Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Webster University, St. Louis, and is employed by Glazer's Distributing, St. Louis, as a division manager.
The couple plan a Dec. 5, 2009, wedding at Zion United Church of Christ in Union.
