Mr. Richard and Mrs. Patricia Watson and Mr. Earl and Mrs. Ronda Cook announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathren J. Cook, to Shannon P. Douglas, son of Mr. Bruce Douglas and Mrs. Cheryl Douglas.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of St. Clair Senior High School, a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a bachelor in social work and psychology and a 2005 graduate of Lincoln University with a bachelor in nursing science. Katie is employed by Missouri Baptist Hospital as a registered nurse in the operating room.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Sullivan High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor in industrial engineering. Shannon is the owner of 7 Cedars Supply and BestGameCamera.com
The couple plan a Sept. 26, 2009, wedding in St. Louis.
