Death Notices for Tuesday, Sept. 8: Viola Cowan, Anthony Feldmann, Vera K. Jones, Eugene Lackey, Kenneth Michaud, Marguerite Ross, Gus Shadrick, James Stevens II and Gerald O. Wesche

Funeral Services for Viola Cowan to Be Wednesday
Funeral services for Viola Cowan, nee Weirich, 93, Gray Summit, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Gray Summit.
Burial will be in Midlawn Cemetery, Union.
Visitation was scheduled to be held Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 3-8 p.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
Mrs. Cowan died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009.
She is survived by four sons, William Cowan and wife Karen, Union, Clarence Cowan and wife Janice, Springfield, Ronald Cowan and wife Jane, Washington, and Richard Cowan and wife Maunawaun, Bossier City, La.; two daughters, Darlene Becker and husband Emmett, Labadie, and Rose Duckett and husband Frank, Williamsburg, Va.; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.

Funeral Mass for Anthony Feldmann Were Held Monday
A funeral Mass for Anthony A. Feldmann, 68, Steelville, formerly of Villa Ridge, were held Monday, Sept. 7, at St. John the Baptist-Gildehaus Church, Villa Ridge.
Burial was in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union.
Mr. Feldmann died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Feldmann, nee Rohe, Steelville; two sons, Tim Feldmann and wife Katy, Owensville, and Kevin Feldmann and wife Amy, Union; one daughter, Lori Feldmann, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; other relatives and many friends.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

Funeral Services for Vera K. Jones Will Be Thursday
Funeral services for Vera K. Jones, 81, Washington, will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
Burial will be in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Washington.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009.
She is survived by two sons, James L. Jasper and wife Debrah, Mesa, Ariz., and Jeffrey W. Jasper and fiancee Claudia Gossman, Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Linda K. Pritchett and special friend Clarence Boedy, Washington, and Joyce M. Davis and husband Myron, Bridgeton; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

Eugene Lackey Funeral Services Will Be Saturday
Funeral services for Eugene Lackey, 77, St. Clair, will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Burial will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Union.
Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the funeral home.
Mr. Lackey died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009.
He is survived by four sons, Darrel Lackey and wife Sue, Wentzville, James Lackey and wife Maryellen and Eugene Lackey and wife Julia, all of St. Clair, and George Lackey and wife Tianna, Leslie; four daughters, Jeanne Link, St. Charles, Judene Huellinghoff and husband Steve, Cuba, Mo., Lisa Wilder and husband Rob, St. Clair, and Lora Tyler and husband David, Union; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

Kenneth Michaud Funeral Services to Be Wednesday
Funeral services for Kenneth Michaud, 87, Lonedell, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lonedell.
Visitation was scheduled to be held after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the funeral home.
Mr. Michaud died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.
He is survived by one son, Larry Lawrence, St. Clair; one daughter, Sharon Kelley and husband Leonard "Bud," Lonedell; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

Funeral Mass for Marguerite Ross Will Be Thursday
A funeral Mass for Marguerite Ross, 71, Union, will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Union.
Burial will be in the Hasenbeck family cemetery in Union.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
A parish rosary will be Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Ross died Monday Sept. 7, 2009.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ross, Union; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.

Funeral Services for Gus Shadrick Will Be Thursday
Funeral services for Gus Shadrick, 82, St. Clair, will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Burial will be in United Methodist Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home.
Mr. Shadrick died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009.
He is survived by one son, Ralph Shadrick, St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

James Stevens II Funeral Services to Be Held Friday
Funeral services for James "Stimpson" Logan Stevens II, 28, Pacific, will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.
Interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery, Gray Summit.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Stevens died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.
He is survived by his father, James L. Stevens Sr., Pacific; his mother, Karen Tissius, nee Bumgarner, Villa Ridge; his fiancee, Melissa Quennoz, Pacific; two sons, Brayden Stevens and Gage Quennoz; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.

Gerald O. Wesche Funeral Services Will Be Thursday
Funeral services for Gerald O. Wesche, 86, Bridgeton, will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9135 Shelley Ave., Overland.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 4-8 p.m. at Baumann Colonial Chapel, 2504 Woodson Road, Overland, and Thursday, Sept. 10, from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
Mr. Wesche died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Wesche, nee Kormeier; two sons, John H. Wesche and wife Mary, New Haven, and Michael K. Wesche and wife Kris; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Baumann Colonial Chapel, Overland.
