Borcherding 60th Wedding Anniversary
Alfred and Erna Borcherding, Washington, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 20, 2009. Mr. Borcherding and the former Miss Vohs were united in marriage Aug. 20, 1949, at St. Peter's Church in Owensville.
The Borcherdings' children are Brad Borcherding, New Haven, Kim Lapeyre, Lake of the Ozarks, and Lisa Housson and husband Joe B., Houston, Texas. They have five grandchildren, Jake and Tracy Housson and Chris, Jon and Ryan Lapeyre. The Borcherdings lived in rural New Haven until five years ago when they moved to Washington.
