Lisa Brewer -1966 - 2009-

Lisa Brewer, 42, St. Charles, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, after a long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Brewer was born Dec. 10, 1966, in Chicago Heights, Ill., the daughter of Wilbert A. Mische and wife Eunice.

She was employed as a sales agent at Whitaker Homes for 18 years and was a member of Smith Creek United Methodist Church in Warrenton.

Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Thomas Brewer; one son, Blake Edward Brewer; one daughter, Paige Kathleen Brewer; her mother, Eunice; one brother, Jeff Arthur Mische and wife Tammy; her father- and mother-in-law, Paul (Shorty) and Noreen Brewer; cherished sister-in-law of Karen, Micki, Mike and Paul; nieces and nephews, including Clayton, Brett, Chandler and Kendall; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 4-8 p.m. at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 W. Clay St., St. Charles.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, at 11 a.m. at Smith Creek United Methodist Church, Warrenton.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the church cemetery or St. Jude Childrens Hospital are preferred.

Laura M. Dove -1924 - 2009-

Laura M. Dove, 85, Warrenton, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at her home.

Mrs. Dove was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Cumberland County, Ky., the daughter of William T. Crawford and wife Cora Etta, nee Riddle.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Dove; four brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth E. Dove, Wright City, and Vincent T. Dove and wife Connie, Scottsdale, Pa.; two daughters, Rosetta Jones, Warrenton, and Rita L. Ricker, and husband J.R., Wright City; one brother, Joseph R. Crawford and wife Helen, Jerseyville, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Warrenton, with the Rev. Jeremy Klaustermeier officiating.

Burial was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles.

Memorials to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.



Billy Lange -1923 - 2009-

Billy Lange, 86, Wright City, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Lange was born July 27, 1923, in Wright City, the son of William Lange and wife Amanda, nee Walthaus.

Mr. Lange served his country during World War II.

He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 3202 in Warrenton where he served as treasurer for 25 years. He was also a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Wright City.

Mr. Lange was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold Lange, Vernon Lange, and Alvin Lange; and two sisters, Virginia Steinback and Helen Straube.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lange, nee Koelln, Wright City; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 1, at Pitman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glenn Davis officiating.

Burial was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles.

Memorials to Warren County Ambulance District or Odyssey Hospice in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.



Funeral services for Raymond H. Moritz, 97, Marthasville, were held Monday, Aug. 3, at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.

Burial was in Augusta City Cemetery, Augusta.

Mr. Moritz died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at his home.

He is survived by two sons, Paul R. Moritz, Marthasville, and Raymond J. Moritz and wife Linda, Washington; other relatives and many friends.

The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
