Death Notices for Tuesday, Aug. 4: Elizabeth Burns, Hugo Lauchstaedt and James Suerig Sr.

Graveside Services for Elizabeth Burns Will Be Thursday
Graveside services for Elizabeth Burns, 80, Washington, will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. at Brush Creek Cemetery, Gray Summit.
Burial will be in the cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, from noon to 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
Mrs. Burns died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009.
She is survived by one son, James Burns and wife Joyce, Union; six daughters, Linda Connor and husband Kenneth and Wendy Hartweck, all of Kirkwood, Sandra Jansen and husband Alan, High Ridge, Skipper Rolen and husband Raymond, Niceville, Fla., Holly Driscoll and husband Robert, Pleasant Hill, and Julie Milner and husband Tim, O'Fallon; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

Hugo Lauchstaedt Funeral Services to Be Held Friday
Funeral services for Hugo Lauchstaedt, 84, Washington, will be held Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lauchstaedt died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lauchstaedt, Washington; one son, Duane Lauchstaedt and wife Jeanne, Washington; two daughters, Donna Jones and husband Larry and Jeannine Clark and husband Robert, all of Union; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

James Suerig Sr. Funeral Services to Be Held Friday
Funeral services for James George Suerig Sr. 72, Union, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
Entombment will be in Midlawn Memorial Gardens Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
Mr. Suerig died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at his home.
He is survived by two sons, James Suerig Jr. and wife Debbie, Wood River, Ill., and Ronnie Suerig and wife Jodi, Pacific; nine daughters, Sharon King and husband Jim, De Soto, Patricia Sowadski and husband John, House Springs, Barbara Ray and husband Jim, Washington, Linda Homire and husband Steve, Robertsville, Cindy Harris and Mike Haas, Villa Ridge, Cathy Fowler and husband Robert, Janie McGuire and Ada Broam and husband Kenny, all of Pacific, Helen Farrar and husband Rick, Union; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Midlawn Funeral Home, Union.
