Death Notices for Friday, July 17: Gladys Avery, Christene Bergmann, Stanley Cain Sr., Jerry Hayes, Anthony Hoelscher and Olga Mann

Gladys Avery Funeral Services Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Gladys C. Avery, 92, Washington, will be held Monday, July 20, at 12:15 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Avery died Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
She is survived by one son, Dale Avery and wife Kathy, Lake Saint Louis; one daughter, Jo Green, Los Gatos, Calif.; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

Funeral Services for Christene Bergmann Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Christene Bergmann, 90, Pacific, will be held Monday, July 20, at 9 a.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bergmann died Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
She is survived by three sons, Alonzo "Lon" Bergmann and wife Carol, Wentzille, Elmer Bergmann and Terry Bergmann and wife Connie, all of Pacific; two daughters, Lorene and Sandy Bergmann, both of Pacific; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.

Stanley Cain Sr. Funeral Services Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Stanley Harvey Cain Sr., 71, St. Clair, will be held Monday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at the funeral home.
Mr. Cain died Thursday, July 16, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Dellavan Cain, nee Pinkley, St. Clair; two sons, Stanley Cain Jr., St. Clair, and Bill Scott and wife Linda, Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Patricia Crowley and husband Gerald, Poplar Bluff; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

Funeral Services for Jerry Hayes Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Jerry Alan Hayes, 52, St. Peters, will be held Monday, July 20, at noon at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, St. Charles.
Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens, St. Charles.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hayes died Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Hayes, nee Riordan; his mother, Helen Hayes; one son, Shaun Hayes and wife Courtney; two daughters, Shannon Donati and husband Vic and Katie Hayes and husband Tony; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel, St. Charles.

Anthony Hoelscher Funeral Services Will Be Saturday
Funeral services for Anthony P. Hoelscher, 88, Washington, will be held Saturday, July 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Church, Krakow.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation was scheduled to be held Friday, July 17, from 3-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
V.F.W. services were scheduled to be held at 7 p.m. Friday followed by Knights of Columbus services at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Hoelscher died Thursday, July 16, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hoelscher; two daughters, Jan Groeper and husband Larry and JoAnn Engelhard and husband Joe, all of Washington; three sisters; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

Funeral Services for Olga Mann Will Be Sunday
Funeral services for Olga Martha Mann, 88, New Haven, will be held Sunday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, from 4-8 p.m. at Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
Mrs. Mann died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at New Haven Care Center.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Mann and wife Judy and Randy Mann and wife Kay, all of Stony Hill, other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
