* Independence Day pageant and dance competition - 10:15 a.m. on the stage;
* Bike Rodeo sponsored by the St. Clair Rotary Club - 11 a.m. in the parking lot by Reed Field;
* Story time in the Park, sponsored by the YMCA - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the big pavilion;
* Grimm's Farm Tales petting zoo - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. behind the big pavilion;
* Hot dog eating contest - 1 p.m. on the tennis courts;
* Watermelon eating contest - 2 p.m. on the tennis courts;
* Watermelon seed spitting contest - 2:30 p.m. on the tennis courts;
* Water balloon toss - 3 p.m. on the tennis courts;
* Guitar Hero tournament, 4 p.m. in the big pavilion;
* Karate demonstration - 4 p.m. in front of the main stage;
* Turtle race - 4 p.m. on the tennis courts.
Participants should bring their own turtle.
First prize trophies will be awarded in three categories - ages 5 and under, 6-10, and ages 11 and up.
* Backseat driver contest - 5 p.m. on Reed Field;
* Karaoke - 6 p.m. on the stage; and
* Fireworks display - 9 p.m.
A team challenge, gyroscope and rock wall will be presented by the Missouri National Guard.
