The groom is a 1999 graduate of Union High School and a 2003 and 2005 graduate of Lindenwood University where he earned both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in studio art. He is employed as a graphic designer at Paramount Apparel Inc. in Bourbon.
The couple took a wedding trip to Disney World, Sea World and Cocoa Beach in Florida.
