After receiving several RFQs from engineering firms, including current provider C. M. Archer, the city evaluated the submissions.
City Administrator Jim Arndt, Mayor Ron Blum and Public Works Director Butch Terry served as the review committee.
The committee came up with a system for each member to independently evaluate each application and score it based on the city's needs.
George Butler Associates was found to be the best qualified of the firms which submitted RFQs.
The city will start a 60-day termination period with C.M. Archer.
George Butler and Associates will perform the following tasks for the city: * Review applications for development projects;
* Review and approve final development projects;
