Death Notices for Monday, June 1: Elsie L. Fox, Irene Glosemeyer, Ellen A. Hess, Bradley Kelley, Vernon Mundwiller, Leonard Peters and Joan Salko

Funeral Services for Elsie L. Fox to Be Wednesday
Funeral services for Elsie LaVerne Fox, nee Bryant, 69, Bourbon, will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Visitation was scheduled to be held Tuesday, June 2, after 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fox died Friday, May 29, 2009.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Fox and wife Mary, Leslie; one daughter, Lori Fox, Bourbon; one brother, Ronnie Bryant and wife Rose, St. Louis; two sisters, Betty Bryant, St. Louis, and Joan Brooks, House Springs; three grandchildren, Shaun Webb and wife Chrissy, O'Fallon, Brandy Rhoads and husband Nathan, Cuba, Mo., and Christopher Winters II, Bourbon; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to the family are preferred.
The family is being served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

Funeral Services for Irene Glosemeyer Will Be Tuesday
Funeral services for Irene H. Glosemeyer, 89, Washington, will be held Tuesday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Church, Dutzow.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Glosemeyer died Saturday, May 30, 2009.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Fine and husband Allen, Washington, and Linda Ripper and husband Chris, New Haven; grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or Masses are preferred.
The family is being served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.

Funeral Services for Ellen A. Hess Were Monday
Funeral services for Ellen Amelia Hess, nee Greife, 83, St. Louis, formerly of Leslie, were held Monday, June 1, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, St. Louis.
Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Mrs. Hess died Friday, May 29, 2009, at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis.
She is survived by one son, Don Hess and Brenda, Leslie; one daughter Sharon Wallace and husband Wally, Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Edward Hess and wife Sheri and Walter Hess and wife Jessica, all of Leslie, and Christine Robinson and husband Jeff, Bland; four step-grandchildren, Mark, David, Julie and April; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Danyee, Jacob, Brittany and Colten; eight step-great-grandchildren, Nick, DJ, Andrianna, Amber, Sara, James, Alex and Zack; two godchildren, Barbara Henson and Richard Rappe; special friend, Joe Horvath; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to Zion United Methodist Church, 1603 Union Road, St. Louis, MO 63125 are preferred.
The family was served by Hoffmeister South County Chapel, St. Louis.

Bradley Kelley Funeral Services Will Be Tuesday
Funeral services for Bradley Kelley, 56, Augusta, will be held Tuesday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
Burial will be in St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Washington.
Visitation will be Monday, June 1, from 4-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
Mr. Kelley died Friday, May 29, 2009, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kelley, nee Backhaus, Augusta; three sons, Benjamin B. Kelley and Ashley Allen, Villa Ridge, and Andrew L. Kelley and Daniel "Pee Wee" Kelley, both of Augusta; one daughter, Sally Jo E. Kelley, Augusta; one sister, Sheila Goedde, Washington; two granddaughters, Maddie M. Kelley and Kalee L. Kelley; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to TEMCO/Emmaus Home or the Children's Education Fund in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385 are preferred.
The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.

Vernon Mundwiller Funeral Services Will Be Thursday
Funeral services for Vernon "Bud" Mundwiller, 86, Union, will be held Thursday, June 4, at 1 p.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
Burial will be in Midlawn Cemetery, Union.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mundwiller died Sunday, May 31, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Mundwiller, Union; one daughter, Becky Toelke and husband John, Nixa; one daughter-in-law, Carol Mundwiller, Union; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Thelma Naert and husband Joe, St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to St. John's Mercy Hospice are preferred.
The family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.

Leonard Peters Funeral Services Were Monday
Funeral services for Leonard Walter Peters, 86, St. Clair, were held Monday, June 1, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
Interment was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Beaufort.
Mr. Peters died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Ione Peters, nee Mincemeyer, St. Clair; one son, Michael Peters and wife Sheila, Springfield; one daughter, Cynthia Peters, St. Clair; two grandchildren, Michelle and Whitney Peters, both of Springfield; three brothers, Everett Peters and wife Ruth and Harold Peters and wife Marcella, all of Beaufort, and Leroy Peters and wife Mildred, Union; one sister, Elverna Bargen, Leslie; one sister-in-law; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Clair, are preferred.
The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.

Funeral Services for Joan Salko Were Monday
Funeral services for Joan F. Salko, nee Rock, 79, Washington, were held Monday, June 1, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Washington.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Salko died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, in Washington.
She is survived by her husband, Nick Salko, Washington; three daughters, Susan Webb and husband James, Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Barbara Scott and husband Samuel, Plainsfield, Ill., and Elizabeth Salko, Creve Coeur; three sisters, Eleanor Smith, Augusta, S.C., Merle Kind, Warson Woods, and Janice Bolm, Warrenton; five grandchildren, Blake, Robert and Sarah Scott and Nicholas and Lauren Webb; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to St. Peter's U.C.C. are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
