Two Washington golfers competed at the Class 4 State Tournament at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
Hunter Parrish finished in a tie for 76th place with scores of 86 and 78 for a total of 164.
Mitch Brauer tied for 103rd place with 87-84-171.
"Hunter had a very good second round with a six-over 78. He played better than that score. If his putts were dropping, he would have been even-par or better. It was a good bounce back from day one," said Washington Coach Greg Dunigan. "Mitch also improved and played much better than his score. Both players represented Washington very well and have great potential to do super things in the future."
Rockhurst repeated as the Class 4 state champion with a team score of 593.
Hickman's Taylor Cox and Rockhurst's Mike McGee tied for the Class 4 individual crown with an overall score of 145.
Competing in the Class 2 Tournament at Sedalia Country Club, Hermann's Greg Wright tied for 78th place with 87-91-178.
Lutheran St. Charles won the Class 2 team title with a team score of 648.
Ash Grove's J. J. Brown was the Class 2 individual champion with 73-74-147.
