Death Notices for Tuesday, May 12: Irene Sickendick and Margaret Vomela

Irene Sickendick Funeral Services Will Be Thursday
Funeral services for Irene  Sickendick, 61, of Owensville, formerly of Washington, will be held Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.
Burial will be in Owensville City Cemetery. 
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sickendick died Monday, May 11, 2009,  at her residence.
 She is survived by her husband, Jerry Sickendick; one son, Daniel Sickendick and wife Marisa, Jefferson City; one brother, Paul Schneider and wife Mary, Bland; one sister, Dorothy Clarkson and husband Phillip, Union; one brother-in-law, James Sickendick; two nephews, Randy Schneider and wife Angie, Canaan, and Russel Schneider and wife Melissa, Owensville; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.

Margaret Vomela Funeral Services to Be Wednesday
Funeral service for Margaret Vomela, 94, Washington, formerly of Minnesota, will be held Wednesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Wednesday, May 13.
Mrs. Vomela died Sunday, May 10, 2009.
She is survived by two sons, Dick Vomela and wife Marie, Colfax, Wis.; and Jim Vomela and wife Mary, Hugo, Minn.; one daughter, Margie Haag and husband Bill, Washington; one sister, Betty Garrison, California state; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials to Alzheimer's Association or Juvenile Diabetes Association are preferred.
The family is being served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
