A rain date of Sunday, June 28, was slated for fireworks only.
The contract is for $4,538.78. The city budgeted $4,500 for the display.
City Administrator Jim Arndt said the city is getting an extra five minutes of fireworks over last year's show.
He added that by signing the contract and paying before March 20, the city would get an additional 10 percent of free fireworks.
The contract includes the following guaranteed display:
In the opening barrage, there will be a 100-shot quick fan crackling flower mine with variegated tails to Ti Salutes.
A 36-shot red dahlia with red tail, silver glittering with silver tail, blue dahlia with red tail and Ti Salute with red tail will follow.
The main show will feature 100 3-inch fireworks, 45 4-inch and 36 Assortment A shells.
The mid-show barrage has two 2.5-inch 36-shot Super Brocade Crowns with silver glitter tails and 16 4-inch Super Brocade Crowns with silver glitter tails.
It will end with three chains of 12 2.5-inch Super Brocade Crowns with silver glitter tails.
Also mixed into the show will be a 100-shot Z cake, 52-shot blue poison spiders, 100-shot Z shape red mines, 100-shot Z-shape crackling flower mine and a 100-shot Z-shape crackling flower mix in pink, lemon, grass, sea blue and orange.
The finale will have two 52-shot Diamonds in the Sky, three chains of 10 colored peonies, three chains of white strobes and several other colored flares.
The contract calls for a total of 717 individual fireworks. The 2008 contract called for 914 fireworks.
The display will begin after dusk on the night of the festival.
