Deep in Prayer
Preschool students at Immanuel Lutheran School turned serious as they prayed for Grandparents Day Thursday, Nov. 19. The event had a Thanksgiving theme with students singing songs and saying prayers of thanks for their grandparents. The day included crafts and pumpkin pie that was made by the preschoolers. From left are Kathryn Boehner, Mason Rowe, Andrew Brough and Matthew Mauldin.

Country music recording artist Bryan White speaks to students at Warrior Ridge Elementary while making a stop in Warrenton Tuesday, Nov. 17. Looking on are students D.J. Karnes, left, and Miranda Nelson. White talked to the students about reaching their dreams. A former Grammy and Country Music Association winner, White is best known for his hit singles "Love is the Right Place," which he played for the students, "Someone Else's Star," "Rebecca Lynn," and "Sittin' on Go."
