A yard and bake sale will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at 7 a.m. in St. Clair to benefit Dexter Hanley and his family.

Toward the beginning of summer, Dexter Hanley, 15, was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma. He had a tumor in his abdomen, which doctors were able to successfully remove. Dexter currently is going through chemotherapy treatment.

He will be a sophomore at St. Clair High this fall.

The yard and bake sale benefit will be held at 975 Virginia Mines Road in St. Clair starting at 7 a.m.
