Significant rainfall has caused rising waters near Highway 47 in Warren County just across the Missouri River from Washington.
The waters of the Missouri River were at 27.75 feet at 9:45 a.m. Monday morning. The river was expected to crest at 28.8 feet Wednesday, May 3, at 7 a.m.
The flooding has impacted the work site for the new Highway 47 bridge the farmland near the work site.
