To The Editor:

All my life I have always voted for the best qualified candidate regardless of whether that person is a Democrat, Republican or Independent.

After the four-ring (Harris, Booker, Hirono, Feinstein) circus the Democrats put on during the Kavanaugh hearings, I would not vote for George Washington if he were a Democrat.

I’m embarrassed for the Democrats, Senate, Congress, and the United States. Whatever happened to “Do what is best for the country and reelection will follow”? Now it is “Do whatever is best for me and hope the idiot voters are too stupid to figure it out.”

It is incomprehensible that  members of a political party in our democratic society would succumb to “the end justifies the means” policy, even if it means destroying one’s character and his family through knowingly false allegations because the current president is hated.

I did not vote for Obama, but I still wished him well. When a president succeeds, the country succeeds. Period.

The voters have chosen. It is time to accept reality and move forward together united. Otherwise, God help our political system, what is left of it. Sen. Graham hit the nail on the head.
