To The Editor:

When President Trump announced the relocation of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem shortly after taking office, I quickly realized that he was like every other president we have had going back, at least, to the Truman days, recognizing that Israel and the American Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC) control the United States and tell our government what to do.

George W. Bush was careful to abide by Israel’s desire for us to attack Afghanistan and Iraq and expend our money, resources and soldiers’ lives with their claim that they needed to be protected.

Obama almost got in trouble with Israel when he brokered the Iran deal instead of going to war with Iran, (which Israel would like us to do to this day). I’m not sure if Israel has forgiven him.

Trump, of course, fell right in line with Israeli dictates by canceling the agreement. So what in the world was he thinking when he announced the pullout from Syria? Did he forget who’s boss? Did he forget that Israel, the bankers, the military and the weapons manufacturers thrive on war?

No wonder “Mad Dog” resigned. I expect more resignations and this could possibly lead to his impeachment or demands that he step down.

We should remind Mr. Trump of Ariel Sharon’s (Israeli prime minister during the 9/11 attack) famous statement, when he was quoted on Israel radio stating, “Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that. I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.”

Mr. Trump, if you want to keep your job, I would urge you to bow down to the Israeli dictates.
