DECA Club, Its Leader Deserve Credit for the Expo By Don Viehland, Union Development Corporation The Missourian

To The Editor:

Oops... in my effort to recognize the efforts of various members of our community who made the Made in Union Expo a very successful event, I failed to acknowledge the high school DECA club and its leader, Charles Gehlauf.

It was this group of students who made the initial contact with the manufacturers in Union to invite them to display their wares at the Expo. More importantly, the DECA students gathered up door prizes from many generous business owners in Union.

Again, my thanks go to the DECA students for their hard work throughout the planning process and the Expo. My hope is that they gained some valuable experience in the process.
