Because I subscribe to The Missourian, and have ever since leaving for college 50 years ago, my husband Joe and I were able to read about and see the debut of the play, “Death and McCootie” (at the Connelly Theater, East Village, New York City) from a story by Clayton Smith with Percy Rodriguez, two fellow Borgia grads — they in 2001 and me in 1962.
It is a smart, comedic (laugh-out-loud) film noir-style farce, superbly acted.
Congrats to them and all involved.
