To The Editor:
You want insight into what’s fiscally wrong with this country?
We have a federal deficit of nearly $16 trillion dollars, yet the federal government sees fit to give a federal enhancement grant of $600,000 dollars to the city of Washington to build unnecessary medians along stretches of Highway 100.
Truly unbelievable and typical of our federal government’s use of our tax dollars.
By the way, based on the 2012 federal deficit, the Feds themselves borrowed $180,000 to fulfill that $600,000 grant.
Another example of brilliant stewardship by the Feds in D.C.
