To The Editor:
I recently attended a wedding in Karlsruhe, Germany. It was attended by Germans, Americans, British and some Algerians.
All of the individuals from these countries spoke many languages. It is a wake-up call for our schools all over the United States of America.
We must enhance our foreign language offerings. Please know the people who are creating our trade deficit speak our language well.
Our young people must be prepared to engage in international commerce.
Let’s keep America strong by supporting our schools and helping our school leaders expand offerings.
