Good Job Ignoring Protesters By Micheal Peterson, St. Clair The Missourian

To The Editor: I would like to thank The Missourian for not covering the “Protest.”

I think that everyone involved including members of the Freedom Riders and Patriot Guard Riders did an amazing job of shielding the family and the public from these “protesters.”

We just proved it works to not give them any publicity. They were there only 22 minutes and got the heck out of there.

Now if every place in America treats them the same way, they will not do it anymore. But every time they can jump in front of a camera it validates them.

Great job, Franklin County, Missouri!

I would also think we owe a debt to Gullet Trucking for creating a barrier with dump trucks and equipment.

There were a lot of people working very hard on this and it showed!
