Raised Over $2,000 for Cancer Society By Joe Lueckenhoff, VFW Post 2661 Chairman, Relay for Life Ladies Dartball The Missourian

To The Editor:

On behalf of the members of VFW Post 2661, I will personally thank all the crew that made the fourth Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life, all ladies dartball tournament a great success.

Special thanks to American Legion Post 218 for the use of its dart boards; together we raised $2,018 for charity.

It was held Oct. 19-20, and 10 teams had a great time.

Through entry fees, 50/50 drawings and a silent auction we put it all together. Next year it will be held Oct. 18 and 19 and we hope to get 12 teams. For information, call 636-239-4835.
