To The Editor:
I will keep this short. The city has decided to annex South Point Road. Why?
I haven’t any idea. We moved to South Point Road in 1960.
The following is a list of what we now have: 1. Good roads. 2. Good water and sewer. 3. Good sheriff department as well as fire department.
The city can offer us 0. There is nothing you have that we want or need. Why do you want us?
Come up with a good reason besides more tax money, in other words just plain greed.
Involuntary annexation no, voluntary annexation yes. It worked for the last 30 years or so (why not now?).
If you want to catch speeders, you have plenty to catch in town.
