To The Editor:

We just want to give a big shoutout to Miller’s Grill in Washington for allowing us to do a benefit breakfast for my nephew’s wife and 1 1/2-year-old son.

My nephew, Nathan Clint Allen, was killed Aug. 17 in a motorcycle accident — he had turned 30 years old just 10 days before. Of course, at that young age, his family was not prepared for this financially.

Our friend, Tim Hays, heard of this need and contacted Miller’s Grill to do a benefit breakfast on Nov. 2. We had an awesome turnout!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Our family was truly touched by the kindness and support received.
