To The Editor:

How could we possibly thank all who helped our recent production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown?”

We had so many talented, hard-working, dedicated people working on this show that it’s impossible to put into words our gratitude.

It made us realize, that after six seasons, The Riverside Players has grown into a wonderful, caring, passionate family who are truly committed to bringing entertaining, thought-provoking theater to the area.

Charlie Brown was only possible due to the help from Downtown Inc., The city of Washington Parks Department, The Farmer’s Market and Chamber offices.

We also need to thank B&J Printing, Elite Survival Systems and JCP Salon. Also thank you to SFBRHS, ECC and Fort Zumwalt South for lending us equipment.

Our biggest thank you, however, is to you — our audience and community. This show proved the need for quality theater for adults, by adults. We are truly thankful that you support us in fostering this artistic pursuit. By attending our shows and donating to Riverside, you have helped us survive another day and another season.

As we continue into our seventh season, we hope that support will continue. Please visit TheRiversidePlayers.com to stay in touch and find out ways you can get involved.

We learned a lot from Charlie Brown. It’s a production that will stay with us for a long time and one we will happily remember.

We hope that everyone attended feels the same.

In the words of Charlie Brown, “Happiness is anything and anyone that is loved by you.”
