To The Editor:

To our politicians, one and all, those in power . . .

When I have my coffee in the morning, I use a coffee mug that I bought at a shop in Oklahoma and on it I read this printed message . . .

“This country is not where it is today on account of any man. It is here on account of the common sense of the big Normal Majority.”

“What constitutes a life well spent? Love and admiration from your fellow men is all that any one can ask.”

“No man is great if he thinks he is.”

“Rumor travels faster, but it don’t stay put as long as truth.”

“If you ever injected truth into politics, you have no politics.”

“When the big nations quit meddling then the world will have peace!”

Said by Will Rogers back in the ’30s. I hope our politicians all see this message, especially in Washington, D.C. I pray all politicians take this to heart and change.
