To The Editor:
Pacific Mayor Adams, on June 5, 2013, Pacific residents received a letter from you pertaining to the dispute between the city of Pacific and the Brush Creek Sewer District.
Why was this letter sent to the Pacific residents when this matter is pending in court, to be resolved?
You, as a former city judge, and the city attorney, should know that this alleged evidence should be presented to the court, not the residents.
I have questions:
1. How much did the city of Pacific pay a person to draft this letter?
2. Who were the sewer district’s directors seven years ago when this problem began?
3. Who are the sewer district directors now?
4. Why did you and the Pacific aldermen allow this serious problem to go on for about seven years before taking legal action to enforce the terms of the contract?
