‘Come as You Are But Don’t Stay That Way’

God is very clear about what is sin. God also makes it clear that He sent Jesus to offer forgiveness to those who admit and confess their sinfulness to Him. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for the sin.

When a person accepts the payment for sin by faith in Jesus Christ that person becomes a new creation to become Christ-like or Christian. A Christian should never seek to do those things that God names as sin.

It is inconceivable that a practicing homosexual/bi-sexual would hold a position of leadership in a Christian church. Christ-like Christians do not hate homosexuals or fear them. Christians are called to love others but to hate sin.

The implied sign on the front of our church reads: “Come as you are, but don’t stay that way!”
