To The Editor:

In the past I wrote an article about Pacific’s Main Street (St. Louis Street in the ’40s and ’50s.

I wrote then how all the stores were occupied and busy.

It is kinda sad now to drive down those three or four blocks at 9 or 10 a.m. in the morning and see only eight or nine cars parked in three or four blocks.

I realize that the Mom and Pop stores are almost a thing of the past, but I hope officials at Pacific City Hall can eventually figure something out. It would be nice to see cars and people on Main Street again.
