Christmas Clergy Message: May We Find Christ

The Missourian
Mary and Joseph were overwhelmed with the 80-mile trip to Bethlehem so close to her delivery date. The hated Roman soldiers enforced the commands of a paranoid King Herod. The crowds jammed the roads and towns … all so the conquering Romans could count their subjects and collect more taxes.
In the midsts of the crowds and chaos, the greed and grabbing, the hurt and hassle may we find the peace and love of that first Silent and Holy Night. May we find Christ. Amen.
