For a newspaper to be owned and operated by the same family for 75 years is somewhat of a rarity, especially in this age. The James L. Miller family members have owned and operated The Missourian for 75 years.

In recognition of that anniversary, The Missourian will have a monthly drawing for $75. Anybody can enter and as many times as they wish if they fill out the form that will be in the paper every month. The February drawing will begin with the Weekend Missourian.

Only entries that are filled out on the form that will be in the 75th anniversary ad in The Missourian will be eligible for the drawing. Deadline for the February entries to be turned in for the drawing will be Feb. 28. The winner will be selected in the first few days of March.

Missourian employees will not be eligible to enter.

The entries from the forms in the paper should be mailed to The Missourian office in Washington, or dropped off at the office. The entries should be mailed to Anniversary Giveaway, P.O. Box 336, Washington, MO 63090.

Remember, only forms from the newspaper will be valid entries. No photocopies will be accepted.

The drawing is another way to say thanks to our readers and advertisers.
