Barack Obama is not the first president of the United States to deceive his “fellow Americans” and he won’t be the last. We are not referring to the mountain of promises he made four years ago, and has failed to deliver, but to the deception he and his insiders used in telling Americans that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was a “spontaneous reaction” to an anti-Muslim Internet video. That was what the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, proclaimed when speaking on nationally televised talk shows. It was considered the official administration response.
We discussed this in an earlier commentary and now Pat Buchanan has added his bit on the deception. His column is on this page.
