Roger Clifford Green, 43, Beaufort, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.

Mr. Green was born July 26, 1968, in St. Louis and graduated from Washington High School, Washington. He attended college at the University of Central Missouri-Warrensburg.

On May 31, 1997, he was united in marriage with Annette Swafford. He was a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation.

Mr. Green was employed at Lou Fusz Dodge for the past 15 years. Mr. Green was a top performer and maintained his ASE Certified Master Technician from the Chrysler Academy.

He had several talents and hobbies, such as working on cars, hunting deer and helping out his neighbors and family. He was truly selfless in all that he did and was loved by all whose lives he touched.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Vera Stine and Jeanne Green; his uncle, Wayne Stine; and his father-in-law, Preston Swafford.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Green, Beaufort; his daughter, Beth Swafford, Ottawa, Ill.; his parents, Richard and Frances Green, St. James; his grandfather, Red Green, St. Charles; two brothers, Richard Green Jr. and wife Toni and Russell Green, all of Omaha, Neb.; his mother-in-law, Joann Swafford, Beaufort; his sister-in-law, Bernadette Pennington and husband Stephen, Beaufort; his brother-in-law, Preston Swafford and wife Sharon, Chattanooga, Tenn.; seven nieces and nephews, Rachel Green, Samantha Swafford, Stephen Pennington Jr., Christine Pennington, Preston Swafford III, Sean Pennington and Megan Pennington; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 12, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, with Monsignor Matthew Mitas of Immaculate Conception Parish officiating.

Burial was in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union.

Memorials to Immaculate Conception Parish in Union are preferred.

The family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
