Linus Edward Westhoff, 87, Marthasville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Mercy Hospital Washington.

Mr. Westhoff was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Concord Hill, the son of Albert Westhoff and wife Anna Marie, nee Sickmann.

He was united in marriage to Victoria A. "Tookie" Mayer July 9, 1949, in Dutzow. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Mr. Westhoff was a salesman for Marthasville Feed. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Concord Hill, and American Legion Daniel Boone Post 180,  Marthasville.

Mr. Westhoff is survived by his wife, Tookie Westhoff, Marthasville; three sons, Larry Westhoff and wife Janice, Eureka, Dennis Westhoff and wife Kathy, Fenton, and Michael Westhoff and wife Michelle, Washington; four daughters, Dianne Hellmann, Audrey Graham and husband Mark and Annette Hellmann and husband Kevin, all of Washington, and Lavon Kimminau and husband Dave, Lee's Summit; two brothers, Victor Westhoff and wife Jeanette, Dutzow, and Joseph Westhoff and wife Alene, Washington; two sisters, Mary Ballmann and Ann Marie Steffens, both of Washington; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna Marie Westhoff; four brothers, Anthony, Andrew, Sylvester and Leo Westhoff; four sisters, Leona Massmann, Bernadine Obermark, Monica Voss and Christine Hellebusch; and a son-in-law, Dale Hellmann.

A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Jan. 11, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Concord Hill.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Ignatius Catholic School in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
