Betty Arnote Fowler, 89, Washington, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.
She was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Cowgill, the daughter of O.N. Conyers and wife Effie.
Mrs. Fowler received her education in Polo and attended Central Missouri State University.
On Dec. 7, 1941, she was united in marriage to F. Junior Arnote at Polo United Methodist Church. After his death in 1967, she married Clifton Fowler in 1973.
Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her first husband, F. Junior Arnote; and her second husband, Clifton Fowler, in 1981.
She is survived by her son, Stanley Arnote and wife Carol, Kailua, Hawaii; two daughters, Jean Arnote Jochum and husband John, St. Louis, and June Arnote Wilson and husband Jim, Washington; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Mrs. Fowler moved to Washington in 1993. She was a member of Polo United Methodist Church and an associate member of First United Methodist Church, Washington.
A funeral service was held Sunday, Jan. 8, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. Jeff Carr officiating.
Burial was private.
