Dale E. Butts
Dale Edward Butts, 52, Union, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4,
2012.
He was born May 21, 1959, in St. Louis, the son of Edward Butts
and wife Alice, nee Lewis.
On Sept. 26, 2003, in Abilene, Texas, he married Frieda Gardner.
He worked at Femmer Plastering as a plaster worker. He also
protected our country by serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Butts was preceded in death by both of his parents, Edward
and Alice Butts.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda Butts, Union; his son, Joey
Butts; his daughters, Katie Butts, Julie Butts and Jennifer Scott;
one brother-in-law, Gary Gardner and wife Wanda, Union; two
sisters-in-law, Frances Hermann, Texas state, and Sue Sutton,
Washington; his grandchildren, Rio, Seth and Mason; many nieces and
nephews; cousins; co-workers; other relatives and many friends.
Services were held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St.
Louis, Thursday, Jan. 12, and at First Assembly of God Church
Saturday, Jan. 14, with the Rev. Paul Scheperle officiating.
Memorials to the family are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home,
Washington.
