Betty J. Williams, 73, Washington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, in Washington.
She was born Dec. 2, 1938, in Washington, the daughter of the late Erwin Krimmel and wife Mary, nee Tiemann.
Mrs. Williams received her education at St. Francis Borgia. On Oct. 24, 1957, she was united in marriage to Clyde E. Williams and they were blessed with six children.
She was a homemaker and later worked in the office at Edison Brothers and Hazel. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart and the precious memories they created will be treasured forever.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Williams; her parents, Erwin and Mary Krimmel; her father- and mother-in-law, Clyde and Tommy Williams; her granddaughter, Brehana Williams; three brothers, Norbert Krimmel, Vernon Krimmel and Leonard Krimmel; one sister, Ruth Thompson; two sisters-in-law, Janet Krimmel and Nancy Mills; one brother-in-law, Larry Dale Williams; and one nephew, Orville Mills Jr.
She is survived by six children, Rebecca Narup and husband John, Craig "Butch" Williams, Betty Williams and Keith Williams and wife Tammy, all of Washington, Lisha Durham and husband Kirke, Gerald, and Kyle Williams and wife Pat, Union; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Krimmel and wife Karen, New Haven, and Donald Krimmel and wife Marilyn, Washington; her sisters-in-law, Theresa Krimmel, Dot Kloeppel and Sharon Heather and husband Joe, all of Washington; her brothers-in-law, Perry Thompson and wife Shirley, Union, and Orville Mills, Washington; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 27, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington, with the Revs. John Mayo and Mike Boehm officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Paralyzed Veterans or Masses are preferred.
