Carl "Mike" Schueler, 63, Washington, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.

Mr. Schueler was born Feb. 28, 1948, in St. Louis, the son of Lloyd Schueler and wife Helen, nee McFarland.

He married Katherine Jean Davis May 20, 1967. He worked as a a carpet installer and spent 11 years as the owner of Midway Carpet. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Schueler was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Biggs; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Everett and Bernadean Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Schueler, Washington; his sons, Dan Schueler and wife Jeanne, St. Peters, and Michael Schueler and wife Beth, Marthasville; his daughters, Kelly Duffer and husband Robert, Beaufort, and Ginger Montgomery and husband Bob, Washington; his grandchildren, Jacob Duffer, Steve Duffer, Christina Ryan, Ahna Montgomery, Serenity Montgomery, Madalyn Montgomery, Grace and Hannah Schueler, Suzie and Hank Schueler; one great-grandchild, Kira Duffer; a brother-in-law, Jim Biggs, Winchester; his relative, Teddy Reeder, Ballwin; a nephew, James Biggs, Ballwin; other relatives and many friends.

Services were held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Friday, Jan. 13, and at The Experience Church, Washington, Saturday, Jan. 14, with the Rev. Joey Peyton officiating.

The family asked memorials be given to Loving Hearts Outrach, Washington.

The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
