Helen B. Nieder
Helen B. Nieder, 88, Pacific, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28,
2011, in Marthasville.
Mrs. Nieder was born July 24, 1923, in Pacific to Pierce Fryer
and wife Elva, nee Myers.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Manhart and wife Devonne,
Washington, and Jeffrey Nieder and wife Shelley, Union; one
daughter, Kathryn Thornton and husband James, Marthasville; two
brothers, Eugene Fryer, St. Clair, and Raymond Fryer, Gerald; one
sister, Jayne Tyler, Wildwood; five grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Mrs. Nieder was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony
J. Manhart; her second husband, Rudolph W. Nieder; her parents;
three brothers, Robert, Jesse and Pierce Fryer; and one
great-grandson, Derek Brown.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 30, at St. Gertrude
Church, Krakow, with Father Richard Coerver officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to St. Gertrude Grade School are preferred.
The family was served by Miller Funeral Home, Washington.
