James Anthony "Jim" Finder, 50, Washington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, in Washington.

Mr. Finder was born April 9, 1961, in Washington, the son of Ervin Finder and wife Jeanette, nee Terschluse.

He received his education in Union and graduated from Union High School in 1979. On Oct. 7, 1995, he was united in marriage to Cindy Scheidegger and they made their home in Washington. He had worked at Magnet and Directory Advertising before starting Simply Clean Power Washing, LLC, in 1997.

Mr. Finder was a member of St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington. He was an avid Cardinals and Rams fan and greatly enjoyed deer hunting. Mr. Finder was the sponsor and coach for the Simply Clean Power Washing youth baseball team in Washington for several years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Finder, in 2005; one daughter, Jennifer, in infancy; and his mother-in-law, Ida Mae Scheidegger.

Mr. Finder is survived by his wife, Cindy Finder, Washington; four sons, Derek Kuschel, Austin Finder, Brandon Finder and Cameron Finder, all of Washington; his mother, Jeanette Finder, Washington; four brothers, Alan Finder, Dennis Finder and wife Kathy and Kevin Finder, all of Union, and Craig Finder and wife Betty, Tooele, Utah; one sister, Michelle Rehmert and husband Lyle, Krakow; his father-in-law, Harold Scheidegger, Hermann; three brothers-in-law, Harley Scheidegger and Neal Scheidegger and wife Gail, all of Hermann, and Doug Scheidegger and wife Stacie, Washington; one sister-in-law, Susie Smith and husband Todd, Hermann; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 3, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington, with the Rev. John Mayo officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Memorials to the Finder Children Education Fund are preferred.
