Memorial Mass Saturday for Bro. Bernardo Trosa
A memorial Mass for Brother Bernardo Trosa of the Franciscan
Missionary Brothers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be held
Saturday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Eureka.
Bro. Bernardo died Jan. 12, 2012, in Eureka. He was 85 years
old.
A reception will be held after the Mass in the church hall.
Bro. Bernardo held a number of positions with the order,
including director general and administrator. He was a leader in
the Society of Joseph, support group for St. Joseph Hill Infirmary
and Price Memorial at Eureka. He was well known in this area for
his work with the Society of Joseph.
Bro. Bernardo was ill for a short time before he died. He was a
native of the New York area.
