The Washington School District’s ballot proposal — Prop R, Right Now for Children — has been endorsed by numerous civic groups, parent/teacher organizations and boards in the community.

Voters will decide on the two-part measure in the Tuesday, April 2, election.

“These are the organizations we have been able to meet with throughout the campaign period,” said Superintendent Dr. Lori VanLeer.

“We appreciate these groups taking the time to put us on their agendas,” she said. “We have tried to share as much information as possible.”

VanLeer said the campaign chairs also planned to meet with the local firefighters Wednesday night as well.
