One Injured in Collision Wednesday Morning
Franklin D. Copeland, 50, Union, was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington for examination and treatment of minor injuries following a collision Wednesday morning at the Highway 100/47 intersection, according to Washington police.
Copeland was southbound on Route 47 when an eastbound truck struck his vehicle shortly before 7 a.m., police said.
The other truck, driven by John T. Walsh, 41, Washington, sustained extensive damage in the collision.
