After being on the market for more than a year, the Front Street building that houses IB Nuts & Fruit Too and Horn Architects, has been sold.

The building is located at 100 W. Front St.

Tami Morton, owner of Mind Body & Spirit Day Spa, and her husband John purchased the building. The sale was finalized Friday, Nov. 2.

“We purchased the building to preserve its historical integrity,” Tami Morton said. “We feel very, very blessed.”

Morton, who grew up in the area, said she knows Washington favors its riverfront.

“I’ve always known Washington takes great pride in the riverfront,” she said.

Morton said she reconnected with previous owners Margaret and Bob Horn through church.

“They told us how much they loved it and how much pride they had taken in ownership,” Morton said, adding that she knew it was important to the Horns that the new owner of the building love and preserve it as they had.

Morton said she plans to leave the businesses in the building exactly as they are.

When Bob Horn retires, Morton said she and her husband may consider living on the top floor.
