Livestock Entries for the Washington Fair Due July 13
All livestock entry forms and entry fees must be received by the Washington Town and Country Fair by Friday, July 13.
Forms and fees should be sent to the Washington Chamber of Commerce, 323 W. Main St., Washington, MO, 63090. If mailed, they must be postmarked no later than July 13. No exceptions will be made.
One entry form is included in the Fair catalog at the end of the livestock pages. This form may be duplicated. Other forms may be obtained from the Chamber office or printed from the Fair’s website — www.washmofair.com.
No animal will be accepted at the Fair that has not been officially entered.
Substitutions may only be made by calling the show chairman before July 18. There will be no exceptions.
The charge for stall rental fees (per head) will be: Market Animals, $15; Beef Breeding/Dairy, $10; and Sheep/Swine Breeding, $5.
All animals will be inspected by a veterinarian at the gate prior to entering the fairgrounds.
All exhibitors are required to purchase a season pass by Friday, July 13. Exhibitor vehicle passes will be issued at the time of entry payment.
Only one vehicle pass will be issued per family. No vehicle will be allowed on the grounds without a proper pass. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Open Market Hog
For Open Market Hog, only one entry per exhibitor is allowed.
Animals will be weighed and tagged at the Fair, however, there will be no weight limits.
No stall fee is required, but animals must be registered.
Market hog health requirements must be followed. Forms must be returned by Wednesday, July 25.
