Five teens accused of damaging a portable restroom at Washington’s Phoenix Park have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor property damage charges, police said.

The five appeared in municipal court last week on the charges. All pled guilty and were given suspended sentences and placed on two years’ probation after paying restitution of $704.98, a police spokesman said.

The defendants in the case, all 17 years old, were identified as Michael Boland, New Haven; Josh Brehe, Union,; Jacob Eckelkamp, New Haven; Joseph Helfrich, Washington; and Todd Kleekamp, Washington.

The incident that occurred about 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, was caught on a surveillance camera located in the park.
